Methodology
Every Relvnt guide follows the same evaluation process. Here is exactly how we review tools — no black box, no hidden criteria.
We check every tool's official pricing page and record exact plan names, prices, and billing periods. We never copy pricing from third-party articles — only from the vendor's own website.
When pricing is unclear or requires contacting sales, we state that explicitly. We never say "affordable" or "competitive" — we give you the number.
We compare feature sets across official vendor documentation. For each tool, we identify 3-5 key differentiating features and note what is included in each pricing tier.
We pay special attention to what free tiers and starter plans actually include — because that is where most readers start.
Before writing, we analyze the top-ranking articles for each topic to understand what information already exists and — more importantly — what is missing.
Every article must contain analysis that does not appear in competing guides. If we cannot find a genuinely different angle, we do not publish.
We identify at least one genuine limitation for every tool we cover. Hiding downsides is dishonest and unhelpful — it leads readers to products that are wrong for their situation.
Stating limitations is the single most powerful trust signal. If we say a tool has a problem, we mean it.
Every claim in our articles is traceable to a source. We cite official documentation, vendor pricing pages, and industry data inline. We never present unverifiable claims as facts.
We do not accept payment for rankings. We do not let affiliate relationships influence which tool we recommend. We do not publish guides where we have nothing new to say.
Our affiliate disclosure appears on every article page. If you sign up for a tool through our link, we may earn a commission — but the recommendation came first.
